Reading this thread on Step count challenge hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 277 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 52 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Step count challenge — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Moderator note: Great discussion, everyone. Just a reminder to keep things civil and evidence-based.

Thread quality is excellent — keep it up. 👍

Relevant to Step count challenge anyone — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.4% → 5.5%, triglycerides 229 → 99 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 → 1.1 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 9 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
