I follow an almost identical protocol and can confirm it works. The two biggest game changers for me were (1) switching to bedtime injection and (2) the strict no-fat rule on days 1-3. The first time I ate a burger on day 2 post-injection I thought I was going to die. Now I plan my meals around the injection cycle.
One thing I'd add: avoid sugar alcohols (found in sugar-free candy, protein bars, etc.) during the high-nausea window. Erythritol, maltitol, xylitol — they're already hard to digest normally, and with delayed gastric emptying they ferment and cause bloating, gas, and worsen nausea dramatically.
