+1. This mirrors my journey exactly. The Hypoglycemia risk discussion here is so valuable.

I respect RickReta_CO perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Hypoglycemia risk with — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying RickReta_CO wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Hypoglycemia risk with hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 273 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

9 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 48 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Hypoglycemia risk — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

CarlaRPh_TPA — that is really helpful context on Hypoglycemia risk with. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
