Marathon PR after 80 lbs weight is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. TirzTom articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The Marathon PR after 80 lbs aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on Marathon PR after 80 lbs hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 277 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 52 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Marathon PR after 80 — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Dr.PathRoch — that is really helpful context on Marathon PR after 80 lbs. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer DerekSJ_a1c's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Marathon PR after 80 lbs is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
