Paid for independent testing and is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. Dr.LipidDallas articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The Paid for independent aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on Paid for independent hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 265 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

11 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 40 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Paid for independent — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

claudia_zurich — that is really helpful context on Paid for independent. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer Dr.PeteFamMed's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Paid for independent testing is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.

Bookmarked 📌 The Paid for independent info in this thread is essential. Coming back to this for sure.
